Every version is Front, transverse, Direct injection (direct), 4 valves per cylinder, 95 fuel, FWD, and a 7-speed Robotic gearbox. Peak power is listed at 5500 rpm on all three; peak torque is listed at 1500-4000 rpm on all three. Compression is 10.5 on both 1.5 DCT engines and 9.7 on 1.8 DCT. The Plug-in 1.5 DCT (262 hp) is the quickest: 1.5 s faster to 100 than the 194 hp 1.5 DCT (8.9 − 7.4) and 2.1 s faster than 1.8 DCT (9.5 − 7.4). The Gasoline 1.5 DCT is 0.6 s faster than 1.8 DCT (9.5 − 8.9).

Top speed is the one place 1.8 DCT wins on the sheet: 215 versus 210 on both 1.5-litre cars — 5 more. That is the only performance figure where the 1799 cc version is ahead. Among the two Gasoline cars, 1.5 DCT (194 hp) uses less fuel on every measured cycle: 3.1 less in the city (10.9 − 7.8), 1.2 less on the highway (6.1 − 4.9), 2.0 less mixed (7.8 − 5.8). Same 70 tank. Mixed consumption on 1.8 DCT is 34% higher than on the 194 hp 1.5 DCT (7.8 ÷ 5.8).
