Generations: what actually changed between 1 generation and 1 generation, restyling
The restyling did not add a second body or a second drivetrain. What it did change, version by version:
1 generation ran 1985-01-01 to 1988-08-31. 1 generation, restyling ran 1988-09-01 to 1992-06-30. Body is Sedan in both. Ground clearance is 120 mm on every version. Wheel size is not measured on every version. CO2 and eco class are not measured throughout.
The restyling did not add a second body or a second drivetrain. What it did change, version by version:
- Fuel tank: 65 L on every 1 generation car, 68 L on every restyling car — +3 L.
- The Diesel 2.0 MT (95 hp, 70 kW, Turbo, 1995 cm³) exists only in 1 generation. After 1988-08-31 there is no Diesel line in this data.
- The 2.5 MT 156 hp (115 kW) exists only in 1 generation. Restyling keeps only 2.5 MT 154 hp.
- The carbureted 2.0 MT 128 hp exists only in 1 generation.
